Girrebba Indigenous Program (September 15,16, &19)

We are pleased to offer the opportunity to update your knowledge and understanding of Australian Indigenous culture.



About this Event




Girrebba is a program developed to awaken the sense of belonging and pride in Australia’s rich Indigenous history. It provides culturally sound teaching of Indigenous values, traditions, and practices through experiential learning in the Indigenous environment of the Corroboree.

The program involves 2 hr Girrebba presentation including welcome to country, participation in the smoking ceremony, traditional dance, bush tucker morning tea, hospitality and tourism talk, plus a back of house tour, followed by lunch in the Billabong restaurant.

Itinerary:

  • Commence at 8:30 am - Girrebba Program
  • 10:00 am - Bush Tucker morning tea
  • 10:30 am - Hospitality/tourism/BOH tour
  • 11:30 am - Lunch in Billabong Restaurant
  • 12:30 pm - Guest to enjoy the park

Cost is $95.00 transfers available on request at $25.00 rtn (Eventbrite link but not to include the coach)
