Trauma Aware Care
Trauma awareness training for practitioners who work in a healing or recovery space with clients and client groups.
About this Event
Are you a practitioner holding space for people as they shift through vulnerable areas within themselves and blossom into their power?
Does your practice assist people as they heal?
Do you encourage self-exploration as part of your modality?
No matter if it is groups or individual work, if you are a person who wants to provide the safest and most nurturing space for your clients to grow and heal - being Trauma Aware is absolutely imperative to ensure the safety of yourself and your clients as we work together on this journey of life.
Trauma Aware Care training will take you through the ins and outs of how trauma works within us as individuals, how it plays out in our daily functioning and how it affects us on our healing path. This workshop will then support you as you establish how to make your practice a trauma informed space for clients to heal themselves and how to work collaboratively with them and their support networks to ensure a rich, and wholesome recovery journey for all.
Trauma Aware Care training will arm you with the tools and information to provide an ethical duty of care to your clientele, to ensure their safety and yours, it will also safeguard you in preparation for crisis situations if and when they arise.
