The annual Sport and Active Living Expo is aimed to encourage the Gladstone Region community to get involved in physical activity, healthy eating and healthy lifestyles.

Gladstone Regional Council is committed to supporting the health and wellbeing of Gladstone Region residents.
The Sport and Active Living Expo provide sport and recreational activity groups and residents the opportunity to connect, promoting community participation. The annual Expo will be held on Saturday, 6, February, 2021 at the Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre.
We invite all sport and wellbeing organisations to take part in the 2021 Sport and Active Living Expo. If you’re involved in a sport and recreational activity group that is interested in being involved register your interest by completing this form.
The annual Sport and Active Living Expo is aimed to encourage the Gladstone Region community to get involved in physical activity, healthy eating and healthy lifestyles. Taking a holistic approach to improve the health and wellbeing of our community through raising awareness and encouraging healthy and active lifestyles by helping boost participation in sport, recreation and wellness activities within the Region.
Who is eligible to submit an expression of interest?
Sporting Clubs/ Organisations and Fitness/ Wellness businesses are encouraged to submit an Expression of Interest to hold a stall at the Expo, promoting their Sporting Club/ Organisation or Fitness/ Wellness business.
Please note that council will not accept expressions of interest from:
- Any business promoting multi-level marketing products;
- Cosmetic or beauty businesses/ retailers;
- Doctors or other allied health practitioners; and
- Massage therapists.
Gladstone Regional Council are required to comply with COVID-19 capacity restrictions. Therefore, if too many applications are received in any one category (for example, same sport or health/wellbeing field), Council will consider the best mix of Sporting Clubs/Organisations and Fitness/Wellness Businesses, will insofar as practicable, give priority to Sporting Clubs/Organisations and will assess all applications based on the order in which the applications are received.
