This training will be delivered online over 1 day using our interactive learning platform. All course participants will be emailed training materials prior to the sessions. In advance of the training, we will send you the course link to access the training.

An interactive and 'hands on' workshop based overview of the NSW Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 1999 (SOP Act). RICS Dispute Resolution Service is an Authorised Nominating Authority under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 1999.

This half day course for building owners, property managers, tenants and tenant reps looks into understanding how to identify and manage the costs, risks and waste of the end of lease process. And being ahead of the game will help save money and gain and retain clients.

  • The journey to adjudication
  • Important bits of the Act that you need to know
  • The role of the Respondent
  • Adjudication submissions and document templates
  • Procedures you need to comply with

Trainer:

Trainer: Richard Inman, MRICS, Director, PIER Consulting Pty Ltd Richard, a Chartered Project Management Surveyor and Accredited Expert witness & Civil Commercial Mediator has over 30 years working within the Construction and Engineering Industries in Australia and the UK, on projects encompassing infrastructure, transport, buildings, demolition and utilities. Richard is a registered Adjudicator in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and Tasmania, with working knowledge of Acts in remaining States/Territories. Richard is also an accredited UK Adjudicator, Qualified and Experienced Engineer and a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb).

Can I update my registration information?
