About The Australian Children’s Choir

Proudly singing since 1976

One of Australia’s oldest mixed-voice children's choirs and choral training programs, the Australian Children’s Choir is based in Melbourne, and has, since 1976, been providing high quality music education and performance opportunities for boys and girls ages 5-20 years. The Australian Children’s Choir has a proud history of musical excellence, with many of its former members going on to pursue successful musical careers and thousands of children having benefitted from its activities over the last four and a half decades. The choir frequently perform in and around Melbourne, and regularly tours overseas, appear at major events, as well as on recordings.

In an age when it is getting harder and harder for performing and educational organizations such as the ACC to attract Government support or significant funding, more and more of Australia's musical organisations are winding down their operations and disappearing from public sight. Despite this, the ACC is thriving artistically, giving back to Victorians, and providing entertainment to thousands of people who attend its performances every year. But it needs your help...

Consideration in donating to The ACC

By supporting the ACC financially you can ensure that the ACC will be able to continue its wonderful record of providing outstanding musical training and performance opportunities to  young choral musicians, as well as the regular commissioning of  music by emerging local composers.

Tax Deduction receipts will be provided for all donations. The ACC is registered as a Charity and has been operating since 1976. The ACC is a Not for Profit Organisation that relies on dedicated staff, and volunteer parents, as well as the support of the local community, private donors  and corporate sponsorship.

Whether your donation is $10 or $500, to the ACC, you will be helping to assist one of Australia’s leading Children’s Choirs.
