Advanced Comedy Class (improvisation)

Drop-in class for those with improvised comedy experience. We will be working on scenes, building teams for shows and more!

This drop-in class is for those who have some improvised comedy, theatre sports or improvised theatre experience.

During the class you'll work on scenes, improving your comedic style and building improvised comedy teams so that you can perform in shows.

The class has a warm and friendly community focus - newcommers are very welcome!

Each week will focus on a different element - no two weeks are the same.

The classes are run by the very friendly performers of the Improv Comedy Cagefight at the Sydney Comedy School.

Ideally, you would have had at least 1 term of improvised comedy experience to join this class. Concepts such as 'yes and' will not be new to you :)

After class we usually hang out for dinner and a drink at the Abercrombie Hotel - newcomers are welcome to join us!

TIMINGS:

7:30pm - 9:00pm: Class (upstairs in the room with the mirrors)

9:00pm - onwards: Optional dinner and drink with the class
