This 5 hour Professional Development workshop aims to broaden your understanding of autism, boost your confidence in interacting effectively with Autistic Students and equip you with evidence-based strategies that can be applied within your school.
Learning Outcomes Participants in our 5- hour workshop will grow their confidence and practice in the following areas: » The thinking and understanding differences that autistic students may have » The behaviours, social relating difficulties and sensory sensitivities that autistic students may be experiencing » Supports and strategies for developing independent work skills » Effective communication and the use of visual supports Who should attend?
These workshops are suitable for educators and teacher assistants as well as any person who works to support autisitic students in a school setting.

Cost: $175 (inc GST) 50 cent online booking fee applies
