The 15th annual Greater Shepparton Volunteer Recognition Awards ceremony is an opportunity to come together and celebrate the incredible volunteers who make a difference to the Greater Shepparton community.

All volunteers who have been nominated for an Award will be acknowledged at the ceremony.

Keynote speaker: Samuel Johnson OAM

Samuel Johnson has won a Gold Logie and a Mirrorball trophy. But he would much prefer to be known as

a brother to his sister Connie, who died of cancer in September 2017. Since Connie’s diagnosis, Samuel

has unicycled 15,478 kilometres around Australia, he has helped build a giant love heart out of 50 million

five cent pieces and has helped raised nearly 20 million dollars for cancer research.

Emcees: Tawnee Vocale and Rob Trewin.

Entertainment: The Filipino Australians and Friends Ukulele Group

Catering: Finger food will be provided.

Livestream: The ceremony will be livestreamed from 6.15pm via Council's Facebook page.
