Bushcare @ IndigiScapes

Work alongside experienced Community Bushcare Officers to help enhance the bushland around IndigiScapes.

Been thinking about giving Bushcare a go? Then come along to our next IndigiScapes working bee, held right here at the beautiful IndigiScapes Environment Centre. Learn Bushcare basics from one of our Redland City Council Bushcare Officers at the beautiful IndigiScapes Environment Centre.

We are hosting monthly afternoon sessions on the first Tuesday of the month (February to November) week to cater to volunteers who may not be available for the traditional weekend working bees. We are looking forward to the difference this group will make to the natural bushland at IndigiScapes.

No experience is required.

MARCH: Tree Popper Masterclass!

Join us for the upcoming March Working Bee, where we'll embark on a hands-on workshop led by Bushcare Officer, Mim Skelly, to master the art of using the tree popper.

The tree popper is a powerful tool known for its effectiveness in removing small to medium-sized woody weeds, such as ochna. Under Mim's guidance, you'll learn the ins and outs of this tool and how to apply it efficiently for bushland restoration.

Don't miss this opportunity to enhance your skills and contribute to our conservation efforts. The Working Bee will conclude at 6 pm, so mark your calendars and be prepared for an enriching evening of hands-on learning and environmental stewardship.
