Intermediate Class: Theatresports and improv games

This course is will teach you the philosophy of Theatresports along with introducing you to a heap of fun & educational improv games

Start your weekend with play.

The class will take an in-depth look at popular improv games from Theatresports and 'Whose Line is it, anyway?'

We will do more than simply practice games, but will also use these games to hone and develop your improv skills. We will look at how to move beyond simply playing games for a gimmick or laugh, and using the structures to create real impro magic on the stage.

This class will also teach you everything you need to know about the classic improv format, Theatresports, including introducing you to the different elements of the show such as judges, the horn of salvation and challenges. The class will also discuss the philosophy and history which underpin these elements and give you insight into their purpose and how to make use of them in a show.

This workshop will help students who are looking to refine their performance skills and hit the stage with increased confidence and power.

It is also perfect for people wanting to get back into impro, or who want to learn more about Impromafia's approach to improvisation.
