Jewellery Workshop: Earrings (SOLD OUT)

About

Come along to create a beautiful pair of earrings and learn something new and fun. We will focus on shape and surface design. Metals used are brass and sterling silver hooks.

In this session you will learn:

- different ways to create surface patterns and colours (patinas) using punches, hammers, a torch and various materials

- how to cut and prepare brass shapes using a hand saw and other hand tools

- how to use a variety of tools to heat and shape sterling silver earring hooks

- where to source tools and materials if you wish to continue making jewellery at home

This is the start of a series of jewellery making workshops being held at the studio. Class sizes are kept small. Includes all materials and tools. Perfect for beginners.
