The Silk Road will take you to a place of party and exploration, with music that soothes, performances that entrance and vibe that inspires. The mesmerising beats of prog / deep / tech house carry you to a far away place where sensuality and exploration take hold. Here, you will experience the secret pleasures of play, with performances by some of Melbourne's leading k!nk artists and burlesque performers. Allow them to lead you into the secret world of play.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Play space, only open to experienced and approved players

DRESS CODE

If it's your first time, wear whatever makes you comfortable

Experienced players, favourable clothing: all black and no denim or tracksuit

K!nk and sensually expressive clothing encouraged

WRISTBAND SYSTEM

Green wristband is open to be approached

Red wristband is not open to be approached

You may change your wristband colour at any time 

* Note: There will be a photographer on the night who will not photograph red wristband wearers. if you are wearing a green wristband and do not wish to be photographed please tell the photographer

BEHAVIOUR EXPECTATIONS

Consent and respect are all powerful! Take note of rules of entry - there will be zero tolerance for rule breakers. the DM and Management reserves all right to eject patrons they so determine needed.

PLAY SPACE

The play space is accessed via checking in with our resident DM and hosts. It is a wrist band based system which the DM will gift to you; the wrist band is your ticket to ride. Anyone can watch so long as they respect the players.

This means:

Stay at least 1.5m away from players.If you have comments or questions for the players please wait until play *and* after care is complete.Always ask for consent to interact before you do so.***This event is a collaboration between RUBIX, Silk Road and other (very experienced) leaders in k!nk, k!nk performance, music makers, workshop providers and dedicated sensuality explorers. It is a safe space that is dedicated to open minded exploration and respect. The DM's word is final at all times - so always ask when in doubt. We are here to teach as much as play.***
