In 1914 a young Squizzy Taylor and his business partner Henry Stokes had full control of Richmond’s underbelly. By 1927 their influence had led to bombings, standovers, bribed mayors, bordellows, sly grog shops, two up schools and bashings a plenty.
On June 1, Roy Maloy will lead a walking tour through key locations in Richmond that takes you through an immersive experience unlike any other. Along with esteemed historian and tour guide, Deb Robinson, AKA Madam Murder, the tour will lean on the research of Roy Maloy’s 15 published books on Australian true crime history.
