Black Wealth Connect Summit 2024

ABOUT THE SUMMIT:

Black Wealth Connect Summit is a one-day networking event that focuses on bringing people from the African community and the diaspora together. Our aim for the summit is to create high level interactions between financial experts who are able to share their skills, resources as well as their knowledge with other members of the African community. We want to encourage healthier conversations around mental wellbeing in connection to financial literacy, as well as create better opportunities associated with building wealth, businesses, retirement strategies and property investment.

TARGET AUDIENCE:

Our one-day financial summit is specifically designed to engage with financial experts, businesses, professionals, young people, and elders within the African community and the diaspora. We believe that by bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds, we can create a space for meaningful dialogue and collaboration around important topics such as financial literacy, mental wellbeing, and community building. Our summit is designed to attract a target audience that includes:

Businesses: Such as owners of start-ups or established businesses that have an interest in promoting financial literacy and community engagement.

Professionals: We also aim to engage with professionals from a variety of industries who are interested in expanding their knowledge and networks within the financial community.

Young people: We believe that empowering young people with financial literacy skills and knowledge is critical to building a strong financial future for the African community and the diaspora. As such, we aim to engage with young people aged 16-35 who are interested in learning more about personal finance, investing, and entrepreneurship.

Elders: Finally, we recognise the value of intergenerational dialogue and seek to engage with elders within the African community and the diaspora who can share their wisdom and experience with younger generations.

By targeting this diverse audience, we hope to create a dynamic and inclusive space where individuals from different backgrounds can learn from one another and collaborate towards building a stronger financial future for the African community and the diaspora in Australia.
