Engaging adult users of family violence

About

Services, practitioners and other responders to family violence in our communities are attempting to place more focus on those who cause harm, and on their patterns of behaviour. Not only does this help to address the source of the harm, but also enables us to ally more sensitively with adult and child victim-survivors through better understanding the violent and controlling behaviours they are responding to.

While opportunities to engage adult users of family violence differ across workforces, services and contexts, we all have a role to play. This series of workshops is designed to equip us to safety and sensitively increase our focus on clients, family violence behaviors', and to do out bit- in collaboration with others- to potentially scaffold steps towards journeys of accountability.

Participants will need to attend all seven days of training.
