From the comfort of the Gellibrand Community House, this workshop will help you to live better with chronic illness.

This interactive workshop explores how food can affect your physical and mental health. By better nourishing and understanding our bodies, this workshop aims to help people living long term health problems reduce stress, sleep better, improve strength and feel supported to make positive life changes. Some common examples of chronic illness include asthma, joint pain like arthritis or back pain, heart problems, memory loss like dementia and diabetes.

Running over 8 sessions, one morning a week, each session includes morning tea, a cooking demonstration and a meal. Sessions are $5 each payable in cash at the door. Sessions at Gellibrand Community House will run each Monday throughout May and July.

Participants are welcome to attend all sessions or a single session. Numbers are capped at 30 participants so please book early.
