The Heritage NananGO PLAYfest is the richest one-act play festival in Queensland. Running through from the 30th August to 1st September this festival will feature around 15 one-act plays over five sessions from Friday night through to Sunday morning. PLAYfest is competition between plays with adjudications presented after each session and at the presentation ceremony. Season ticket holders also vote for the champagne prize of People's Choice Award. Heritage Nanango sponsors the prizemoney with a wide range of awards for acting, directing, new playwrights, youth and adult plays and the $1,000 prize for Best Play. The weekend offers a full smorgasbord of theatre with drama, comedy, dramedy, and ensemble work from both youth and adult theatre groups and is staged at the Nanango Cultural Centre.Date
