The young Queen Victoria and Prince Albert met Felix Mendelssohn at Buckingham Palace in 1842. Queen Victoria sang, and Prince Albert and Felix Mendelssohn played organ and piano featuring their original works along with music written by Mendelssohn's older sister Fanny. The aging Queen Victoria reminisces on her young married life with her beloved Albert and hears again the wonderful songs written by Prince Albert.Date
