The show opens with the song, Can’t Hang, during which Ariel’s friends dump her because she’s not cool enough, forcing Ariel to hang with the loners of North Wind Academy. We learn the stories of the other ‘loners’ and they all realise they just want to be loved, so they hatch a plan to become cooler than they are, so they can get friends. Songs include the best of 90’s pop plus a few more modern items.
