Women’s Storytelling Workshops

About

We all have a story to tell. Storytelling is one the oldest, most natural and engaging forms of communication. Sharing stories of our lived experiences fosters empathy, builds confidence and connection and gives shape to our lives. It is also a fun and rewarding.

This workshop offers women the opportunity to tell a 3 to 5 minute story based on a lived experience based on any one of the three workshop themes e.g. Home (you will provided with them on registering). You will learn how to capture your story and practice telling it in a supportive and engaging setting.

The workshops will also look at oral storytelling tips. You will leave inspired and uplifted.

The Women's Storytelling Workshops are led by Abigayle Carmody, a seasoned writer from the Bellarine Peninsula. She has hosted living library events, participated in the Perth International Writers Festival, and taught storytelling in sectors like education and health.
