Jimmy Eat World - Clarity 25 Years Celebration

Friday June 7th at the Corner Hotel a group of Melbourne musicians from various groups will form a band to perform 3 sets of Jimmy Eat World songs, including many songs off Clarity, Bleed American plus other records.

The night will also feature a rotating cast of singers from bands such as Catholic Guilt, Have/Hold, Westall 66, Face Face, Nausicaa, Afters and Fleeting Persuasion.

The show will celebrate the 25 year anniversary of the 3rd Jimmy Eat World album Clarity which was released February 1999.

The album has since amassed cult status and critical acclaim, and has been lauded as one of the best emo albums of all time by publications such as Kerrang!, LA Weekly and Rolling Stone. 

It's been quoted as "one of the most fiercely beloved rock 'n' roll records of the last decade. It is name-checked by every single contemporary emo band as their favorite album."
