NAIDOC Week Bush-tucker Garden Planting

Help enhance the bush-tucker garden at Craigieburn Community Garden for NAIDOC Week, with a morning tea.

National NAIDOC Week celebrates the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Come learn about some of the plants that are used by the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung, and the greater Kulin Nations around Narm (Melbourne), as food, fibre, medicine and for tools.

Help the community at Craigeburn Community Garden create a demonstration bush-tucker garden to show what other people could be growing at their homes. This will also act as a Gardens for Wildlife site, as these same plants provide habitat for a whole host of native wildlife, we should share our spaces with too.
