In this energising online workshop, Drama in Education specialist, Jodie Whitehurst, will share a series of simple, accessible drama techniques to help teachers engage and motivate their EAL/D learners. Learning through drama allows students to connect their brains with their bodies, leading to more expressive communication and greater retention of new language structures. Participants will explore these drama-based strategies through hands-on participation, allowing them to gain a sense of how such learning will feel for their students. No previous drama experience is required; just bring an open mind and a sense of fun!
