Native Title & Indigenous Cultural Heritage Law Seminar

About

The Native Title & Indigenous Cultural Heritage Law — An Australian Perspective seminar provides an introduction to land rights in Australia, including the theory of native title, the native title future acts regime, and Indigenous cultural heritage law.

If you are a heritage advisor, or work in planning, environmental regulation or community policy areas, then it is critical to have a good working understanding of native title and Indigenous cultural heritage law, as well as associated regulatory and statutory regimes.

This seminar will provide an introduction and overview of these matters, as well as the opportunity to participate in discussion with a Traditional Owner about how rights & responsibilities to culture & Country are enacted within statutory and regulatory environments.

This all day seminar (08.45am - 4:00pm) will be held on Tuesday 25 June 2024 in Geelong on the land of the Wadawurrung people.
