Learn how to create unique and durable accessories and wearables from paper. Paper as a textile is a sustainable and versatile material for fashion and practical accessories. Making your own paper accessories will give you individual and beautiful wardrobe items that no-one else will have.

In this 1-day workshop you will learn:

• To make a durable and functional bag or bucket hat or wallet from paper;

• How to use eastern and western papers for textile accessory projects;

• Construction techniques and approaches that will make sure your accessory lasts and is fit for purpose;

• Embedding water resistance in paper textile accessories.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and experienced students. Basic sewing skills are an advantage. A student requirement list will be supplied after booking is confirmed. Some specialist products and materials for use on the day are included in the course cost.
