Celebrate NAIDOC Week with Ryka Ali - ages 5-12

Celebrate NAIDOC Week with Ryka Ali who will perform songs and dances from both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and play the didgeridoo. Dances will feature unique Australian animals such as the kangaroo and the emu, and audience participation is greatly encouraged.

Ryka’s heritage stems from the Wuthathi tribe of Shellburne Bay, Cape York and from the Torres Strait Islands. A previous winner in the Young, Black and Deadly Talent Quest, Ryka is a very proud ambassador for Australia’s Indigenous youth.

In consideration of others, please cancel your booking if you are no longer able to attend. This event is for children only and parents/carers do not require a ticket. This event is fully supervised by library staff.

Free event, suitable for school aged children between 5-12, bookings essential.
