Mat Yoga - Bunurong Memorial Park

Join facilitator Carmel for an introduction to mat yoga and learn how it can boost your health and wellbeing.

This is an educational and practical introduction to yoga on a mat. The session will include practical tips, guided movement and suggestions as to how you can implement the practice of yoga in your daily life.

Carmel will lead you through gentle yoga postures, movement, breath awareness and relaxation techniques designed to bring a sense of connection and balance to the body and mind. A consistent yoga practice can improve strength, balance, and flexibility.

This will be provided in a warm and welcoming space.

The ability to get down and up unassisted from the floor is required. If this is difficult for you, please have a look at the Chair Yoga we have on offer.

The Nolan Room, Bunurong Memorial Park.

Equipment:

Yoga mats and blocks will be available however if you prefer to bring your own please do so.

BYO water bottle.

Please wear comfy, non-restrictive clothing.
