Gold Lustre surface decoration workshop

Soak up the creative atmosphere of a working pottery studio and join the studio community of makers. Work under the tutorage of artist Carys Martin to learn the techniques and tricks to creating in clay and to explore the different surface decoration options. Learn the art of gold lustre! Bring along your fully fired pieces that you would love to add a touch of gold lustre to. During the workshop Carys will teach you how to apply gold lustre and the essential safety around its use. You will be able to apply your gold lustre to a number of your finished, glazed pieces of work and Carys will fire them for you. You are welcome to bring along pieces made in other studios to be adorned with gold lustre and fired. They will be ready to collect a couple of weeks after class.
