Emergency Homebirth Skills Workshop

Are you a midwife working in the homebirth space or looking to expand your skills to into homebirth in the near future? Join us at our Emergency Homebirth Skills Workshop to learn essential skills for recognising, responding and managing emergencies in the homebirth setting.

This in-person event will be held at 6 Burnett Pl. Our experienced midwives will be guiding you through the most common emregencies to unfold at home and facilitate simulation style learning in teams. We will also be briefly covering recognising the cardinal movements of breech birth and WHEN to be hands on! Finally Monika Zdyb from Nebula will be working with attendees to unpack how the body responds and processes unfolding emergencies.
