Polly Woodside Open Day 2024

After travelling 1.5 million miles across the globe, the Polly Woodside now welcomes you aboard!

Built in Belfast in 1885, the three masted cargo vessel carried coal and wheat between England and South America.

You can join the crew, come aboard for a tour of the ship and discover what life was like on a tall ship sailing the seven seas.

Join a 1 hour tour of Polly Woodside with an experienced guide as they tell you not only about the history, but also about the People of Polly Woodside. Afterwards, please explore the ship and museum for up to 30 mins.

The ship was built by people, people lived and worked on the ship, Polly helped people and now she has been restored by people.

Without people, Polly Woodside would not exist nor would she have lived the interesting life we love to learn about today.

Most suitable for ages 16 and up.
