Stand-Up Comedy Course in Hobart

This highly interactive stand-up comedy course will help you to master the art of storytelling, joke-writing and presenting on stage.

Course Overview

Master stand-up comedy and be a better storyteller on stage, at work, and socially!

This course is extremely practical and will give you a lot of tools to use straight away.

You will learn the science behind jokewriting, dive deep into your personal style of humour, learn a large number of joke structures and writing techniques, create your own set, practice with a mic, and learn the art to crowdwork.

Best of all, you will grow your stage presence, confidence, and ability to wow others in a range of settings.

This course is extremely practical and time-efficient course! In just 2.5 hours, you gain deep and long-lasting stand-up comedy skills.

➤ Joke-writing: We will teach you the structure of a joke and how you can maximise laughs.

➤ Storytelling: You will become more confident in telling stories that resonate with audiences.

➤ Stage presence: We will help you to improve your presence when on stage and in social situations.

➤ Crowd work: Gain new skills in how to better interact with crowds.

Duration

➤ This course is held just once in Hobart as we are in town for the Dark Fringe to run some science comedy shows. It runs for 2.5 hours and is at the Quest Savoy Hotel. Spots in the course are strictly limited.
