Fabled venue 'DD's Bait and Tackleshack' was founded at Splendour In The Grass Festival in 2006 as an 'off the map' place for performing artists and their friends to hang out. Hosted by Colonel Waylon P. Flawstane, ably assisted by a sprawling number of 'fambly' members over the years, the Tackleshack has entered the pantheon of legendary juke joints. Drawing inspiration from the dirt floored bait shop bars near The Colonel's home in Dry Prong Louisiana, the Tackleshack is a place to soak up the music of the Deep South and beyond.

The Colonel is nationally renowned DJ who plays country & Western, vintage soul, 50's R'n'b, original rock'n'roll, swamp blues, bluegrass and country music often on vintage vinyl.

He will be joined on this special afternoon...into evening session by 16 members of his extended Fambly adding 'colour' to the occasion.
