Ukulele for Beginners - A series of four workshops

Join this four-week Ukulele for Beginners course and impress friends with your newly-acquired talent!

Facilitator Saulan Yin-Lo will teach you the basic notes and strumming techniques to play this fun instrument, along with a couple of tunes to get you started.

Ukuleles will be provided for you to use for free during this four-week course. Alternatively, you are welcome to bring your own.

Please ensure you are available for all four sessions before booking.

Class dates: Weekly on Fridays: 8, 15, 22 and 29 November from 10.30am to 11.30am.

  • Bookings are essential and spaces are limited.
  • You must be able to attend all four sessions.
  • If you are unable to attend the course, please cancel your ticket as soon as possible. This will enable others to participate.
  • The ticket is not transferable.
  • This 4-week workshop is for library members. Library membership is free and you can join online and at any branch.
  • Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow the event to run on time.
  • Patrons who fail to comply with the Terms and Conditions set out above will have their tickets cancelled.

  • Your attendance at events supported by Randwick City Council may be digitally recorded through photographs and/or video recordings.
