In a World of My Own : SPARK Exhibit

An interactive installation for children exploring themes around nature and sustainability of fibre.

In a World of My Own: Interactive Installation for children

In a World of My Own is an installation designed to inspire development through play. The space has been transformed into a fibre arts garden full of activities. Surrounded by buzzing bees, fluttering butterflies and large plush animals, children and parents are invited to spend some time relaxing in the garden.

Along your journey, there are multiple activities, including finding hidden animals, making your own flowers at the craft tables, and reading a book under the tree. You can also see a ‘behind the scenes’ of our process and learning a little bit about fibre as a material and where it comes from.

There are plenty of photo opportunities for the parents to take home a keepsake.

Featuring large-scale installations from the artists Pan and Boo, this immersive experience was formed with a desire to provide accessible, educational, and fun art for children.

Part of SPARK Ipswich 2024.

The instillation is at Queens Park Environmental Education Centre from Monday June 24th until Saturday July 13th. The center is open 9am - 3pm Monday to Saturday to view the instillation.

This is a free exhibition; however, bookings are essential.

Please book a ticket for all attendees.
