Futures Lab: Code Quest at Old Midland Courthouse

Learn how to code by making videogames, and pick up some knowledge about recycling along the way. Suitable for Beginners!

Please note that this program is for kids aged 8+, and is a hands-on workshop.

This time in Code Quest, you will use the Scratch coding language to create a game that tests your player’s skills, reflexes and knowledge of recycling all at once! Make your own fast-paced collecting and avoidance game, and learn about computer logic, collision and variables!

Laptops are provided, but please bring a USB drive to save your game. Parents are welcome to participate.

Please note that this program is suitable for children ages 8+ and is a hands-on workshop. Photographs and videos may be taken of the event. Please book one ticket for each person attending.
