Educator event: how to make the most of the CBCA shortlist in the classroom hosted by Blue Mountains Nepean Region Sub Branch of the CBCA.
Hear about the CBCA Book of the Year judging process and how to link short listed books
to the syllabus from CBCA BOYA judges Sheryl Cootes(Picture Book /New Illustrator Award), Kayte Eyre (Eve Pownall Award), and Jackie Hawkes (Kids Corner Editor).
Penrith City Library will provide ideas of how to engage pre-school aged children with short listed books. As well as providing information about available Library resources.
Bring along your ideas and suggestions to share as well.
Enjoy light refreshments and network with other teachers and librarians after the presentation.
