Mount Pleasant Road Kindergarten Zoo Excursion

On Monday the 22nd of July the Kindergarten classes will be travelling by bus to Melbourne Zoo to participate in an education program and self guided tour of the Zoo. We will be departing the school at 9.00 am and will return to the kindergarten by 3:45 pm. This excursion is inspired by our learning about change and our interest in the environment around us.

The children are to dress in their appropriate clothing for the weather-solid shoes, hat and raincoat if wet.

We ask that you bring your child’s lunch and two snacks in separate disposable bags and provide a disposable drink bottle that are all named.

The approximate number of children attending will be 61. Teacher/adult student ratios will be a minimum of 1:3 A risk assessment has been prepared for this excursion and is available at the kindergarten.

The cost of the excursion is $43, and this covers the cost of the bus and admission.
