ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:

CRISTIAN SPERANZA is a burgeoning director, writer, and filmmaker who recently graduated from UNSW with a BA and Bachelor of Media (Honours). Cristian’s Practical Honours project, a short film titled Again, Again!, explores how women’s domestic labour has been portrayed on screen in the films of Chantal Ackerman and Eric Gravel. Cristian is the co-host of the podcast, Down Underground, which delves into the dynamic world of Australian Film Culture and he is currently in the pre-production stages of his debut short film.

This workshop is designed for ages 16+. Please BYO lunch and notetaking materials.

ABOUT THE VENUE:

MARRICKVILLE PAVILION AND LIBRARY is accessible by lift from both the street and ground levels. The venue is accessible for people using wheelchairs and other mobility aids. There is a hearing loop available.
