Discussions with Parents is a support group where participants are encouraged to share their experience discover strategies.

Discussions with Parents is a support group designed to help parents and caregivers navigate the challenges of raising children. Participants are encouraged to share their experiences, engage in meaningful discussions, and discover effective strategies for common parenting hurdles.

Each month, a qualified counsellor will facilitate a discussion on a topic that many parents and caregivers find challenging. These sessions will provide insights into the latest evidence-based theories and allow attendees to learn practical strategies from both the counsellor and fellow participants.

Monthly topics:

  • JULY - Screen Time, when should we be worried?
  • AUGUST - School Anxiety, how can parents help?
  • SEPTEMBER - Sleep Hygiene, bedtime routines, why is it so hard?
  • OCTOBER - Nutrition, what does healthy eating look like?
  • NOVEMBER - Managing Big Feelings, how can parents help?
