Graduate Researcher Milestones: Understanding Examination

Let's demystify the examination process - find out what to expect after you submit your thesis.

The Research Education and Development (RED) team are pleased to announce that registrations for the session on Understanding Examination, are now open.

This session helps demystify the process of thesis examination. Topics for discussion include: talking about examination with your supervisors; what examiners look for in theses; how to reflect upon and integrate examiners amendments.

This session will also provide you with a collegial and supportive space to ask questions about examination.

It can be stressful if examination feels like a big unknown as you get ready to submit your thesis. Understanding how the processes of examination work and what to expect from your examiners’ reports can assist you in feeling prepared for submission and ready to take your next steps.
