The Paragon: yesterday, today and tomorrow?’ A local Museum Talk

Join us for another Museum Talk – brought to you by Friends of the Paragon, Blue Mountains City Council and Blue Mountains Library

Presented by Friends of the Paragon, Blue Mountains City Council and Blue Mountains Library

In this short talk Dr Robert Strange presents a review of the history of The Paragon in the twentieth century, the first two decades of the twenty-first century and some insight into the future of this multi-dimensional heritage icon.

The Paragon, once ‘Australia’s Best Cafe’, was founded by 19-year-old Zacharias Simos and operated by the Simos family for 84 years. It remains an art deco icon of the upper mountains.

Friends of the Paragon Inc. is a not-for-profit community association that is dedicated to preserving the history of the Paragon and the Simos family.
