Nightingale Wilam Ganga - Information Session 2

We're returning to our roots with a new apartment project in the heart of Brunswick. Join us for the second and final session.

Nightingale Housing is a not-for-profit organisation that provides homes that are socially, financially and environmentally sustainable. We believe that homes should be built for people, not profit.

We're returning to our roots with Nightingale Wilam Ganga. Meaning ‘homes end’ in Woi Wurrung language, Nightingale Wilam Ganga is a unique apartment project located on Florence Street, next door to Nightingale 1, in the heart of Brunswick where it all began.

Designed by Six Degrees Architects, the award-winning team behind Nightingale 2, the project will be connected to the rich tapestry of Nightingale communities along the Upfield bike path.

Nightingale Wilam Ganga offers a diverse range of homes, including Teilhaus, 1, 2, and 3-bedroom homes as well as distinctive double-storey apartments. These residences will be complemented by quality shared spaces on the rooftop with uninterrupted views to the west.

Join us for Information Session 2, the second and final session on the project. At the session, we will go into more detail on the design response, materials, floorplans, pricing and the ballot process. At the end of the session, the ballot will be opened.

Wednesday 10 July

6.30-7.30pm

Brunswick Town Hall

Please let us know your communication requirements (Auslan, Relay, etc) when you book a ticket and we will make suitable arrangements.

Event profits will be donated to Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Cultural Heritage Aboriginal Corporation.

From the early stages of the project, Nightingale engaged in consultation with Wurundjeri Elder Aunty Gail Smith. One outcome of this ongoing consultation process is that the building has been given a Woi Wurrung name, Wilam Ganga, meaning ‘homes end’.
