Be inspired by the Fascinating Science exhibition to learn all about the science behind sound - and make your very own instrument.
Join the QVMAG Learning Team at the Museum at Inveresk for this fun family-friendly workshop - exploring the science of sound.
The session is inspired by our current exhibitions, Fascinating Science and Science on the Move - now showing at the Museum at Inveresk.
We'll discover how sound is made, how it travels, and how we hear sounds.
We'll explore different types of sounds - and even create our own musical instruments from recycled materials. It's fun for the whole family!
PLEASE NOTE:
- Bookings are required for all attendees.
- All tickets are $6pp.
- All materials provided.
- Please feel free to bring a water bottle to the session.
- This is a supervised activity and not a drop-off activity. Parents/guardians are expected to remain present for the duration of the event — and are encouraged to help and join in on the fun!
