Join us for the next edition of Connected, a series of seminars featuring discussions between academia and industry at Melbourne Connect. Together, we can transform our ideas into more than the sum of their parts.

Yoganathan Sivaram, Chief Technical Officer from InEight, and Eun-Jung Holden, Professor of Digital Innovation from The University of Melbourne’s School of Computing and Information Systems, will discuss the practicalities of implementing new digital technologies such as AI, exploring the “when, how, and why.”

Yoganathan will share his experiences at InEight, focusing on developing and deploying technology solutions in the construction industry and the challenges encountered on the ground. Professor Eun-Jung will speak on her work in creating actionable AI tools for the resource industry, illustrated with case studies.

This fantastic session will explore technology and societal challenges from multiple perspectives. Two 15-minute keynote talks will be followed by a moderated discussion, where you can ask the experts further questions and network with fellow attendees. A catered lunch will be provided.

The Connected series is presented in partnership with The University of Melbourne's School of Computing and Information Systems.
