Team Lopez Foundation Annual Track Day 2024

Each year, the Team Lopez Foundation hosts our Annual Track Day to raise funds for pancreatic cancer research! This year, on Friday 23rd August, we’re on a mission to increase our support for the Bill Walsh Lab in the Kolling Institute of Medical Research to ensure the critical work the team are doing can continue!

You can help, and enjoy a fun day out at Sydney Motorsport Park by bringing along your grocery getter or your race car for an exclusive opportunity to get out on a world class race track and get your adrenaline pumping while supporting a worthy cause!

With access to the Full 3.93km Gardner GP circuit, we will be running beginner, and intermediate/advanced groups so that first timers can try out the track, and those who want a more spirited drive can have their fun too.

For those after a more leisurely day, you can come along and join our Alex Lopez Memorial Lunch and be a spectator for the on track action.

There are 3 options for attendance;

1. Full Day Track Event + Alex Lopez Memorial Lunch - $495
2. Half Day Track Event + Alex Lopez Memorial Lunch - $345
3. Alex Lopez Memorial Lunch & Spectator Ticket - $100

A memorial and ceremonial lap will be performed before lunch in memory of Alex. During lunch we will also have an auction and raffle prize to raise much needed funding.

For the drivers - it will be very casual and friendly day, so you can choose whether you want to drive in any or all sessions. We have use of the entire track for the day. As with any track day, the driver takes full liability.

A reminder that ALL funds raised go to pancreatic cancer research and supporting better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients.

Drivers:

You are required to wear long sleeve shirts, full length pants and enclosed shoes while on the race track. You will also need a helmet, limited helmets are available to borrow on the day.
