Join us for weekly Life Drawing & Painting sessions in the dreamy afternoon light of Shell Space... This longer session is a chance to slow down and connect with your inner muse!

First Half: Short Warm Up Poses

For the first half, the model will present a series of short and dynamic poses for us to draw from. Poses will range from 1 - 10 mins. This will be a chance to loosen up, experiment with different techniques and materials, with facilitator Michaela offering light guidance if needed.

Second Half: One Hour Long Pose

Then we will have a longer break, a chance to have a drink, a snack and share our creative processes. The second half will be a one hour long pose, which will give you a chance to work on a more developed painting or try out different angles and techniques for drawing.

Basic drawing materials provided, you are also welcome to bring your medium of choice and easel to work with on the longer pose.

FAQ

The session starts at 4pm. Be sure to arrive in time to get set up with materials before we begin.

The session runs for two and a half hours. We begin with several short poses to warm up, and then move on to a one hour long pose. There are several short breaks in between poses.

Drawing boards, paper, pencils and charcoal provided. You are also welcome to bring your own art materials including paints and easels.

This is an inclusive and relaxed space. All drawing abilities are welcome! The session is untutored, but facilitated by artist Michaela. She is available during breaks to offer advice or prompts if needed.

Please put your phone on silent whilst in session. Strictly no photos or videos allowed while the model is unclothed or posing.

Refunds

Cancellations with more than 48 hours notice will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours will be able to transfer to any future session.

If a session is cancelled you will be notified by email and tickets will be fully refunded.
