Presented by the Coburg Historical Society. Edmund Finn, better known as ‘Garryowen’ was the author of The Chronicles of Early Melbourne 1835-1852. His writings brought to life this period and place, but little has been written about the man himself. Join Dr Liz Rushen who will tell us more about his life and work, highlighting his visit to the Pentridge district at the time, and some of the surprising things she discovered!
