The National Gallery of Victoria has just opened its Winter Masterpieces exhibition for 2024 - 'PHARAOH NGV'. It is stunning exhibition of 500 plus objects drawn from the extraordinary collection of the British Museum, London. I have made multiple visits to Egypt over the years, and of course, visited the British Museum on multiple occasions. In this lecture, I propose to introduce this fabulous exhibition - essentially to prep you for your visit (or indeed allow you to reflect on what you have seen if you have already visited). Lecture will be online from Monday 8 July.
